Together with Vida Bakondy Eva Hallama organised the panel “Objekte der Migration: Bild – Ton – Textil” about cultural objects that have been produced in the context of labor migration or have been shaped or changed by the migration experience. Discussant was Gerhild Perl.

In her lecture Eva Hallama presented the SONIME project, the history of audio letters, the practice of staying in contact with audio letters over long distances, the impact of the voice on the listeners and migration experiences inscribed in those audio letters.
