Katrin Abromeit and Will Prentice talked about early audio recordings (1900-1950) of the Phonogrammarchiv Vienna. They explained the history of the Phonogrammarchiv and presented the specific recording technique (Archivphonograph) developed by the archive in the year 1900 next to the technical systems by Emil Berliner and Thomas Alva Edison.
